BOOKING IN
How can I book an appointment ?
You can easily book your appointment online through my booking system. Before you do, please visit my Hair Prep page so we can make the most of our time together during your appointment.
How far out do you open your books online?
I open my books two months in advance—usually on the 1st of the month at 9 am. I’ll keep you updated via social media and Google when the new booking dates are coming up. For example, on May 1 at 9 am, I open bookings for June and July.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes, you can find it on my booking page when looking for an appointment.
Can I use cash to pay for my appointment?
I accept all major credit cards and Apple Pay. Please note that I do not accept cash as payment for the service, although you’re welcome to use cash for gratuity if you prefer.
ARRIVAL
Is there parking available?
Yes! There are several off-street parking spots right in front of the My Salon Suite building, as well as street parking and additional spots in the shopping plaza behind the building.
If you’re running a little behind, I offer a 15-minute grace period to keep your experience relaxed. Just drop me an email at info@thetexturetemplewithannie.com to let me know, so I can be prepared for your arrival. If you happen to be more than 15 minutes late, I may need to adjust the appointment, and the full service fee could apply. Thank you for understanding—I’m here to ensure you have a wonderful, stress-free curl experience!
How do I enter the Suite?
For the safety of everyone in the building, please wait to enter until you have notified me of your arrival. The space is located within My Salon Suite, which does not have a direct storefront entrance. Please enter through the main doors of My Salon Suite. Once inside, you'll find a small waiting area with a keypad on the opposite wall. Enter 503 and press the green key button to notify me. I will greet you and personally guide you to my suite on your first visit. After that, you’re welcome to enter on your own once you've checked in.
What if something comes up last minute and I can’t make my appointment on time—or at all?
I completely understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible by emailing info@thetexturetemplewithannie.com. I’m happy to work with you to find a new appointment time. If frequent cancellations or lateness occur, a fee may be occur to keep fairness to time booked and other clients. I appreciate your understanding and open communication, and I’m here to ensure your experience is as stress-free as possible!
Do I need to wear a mask during my appointment?"
No, masks are completely optional in my one-on-one space. I want you to feel comfortable, so wear one if you’d like! If you have any specific preferences or concerns, please check your pre-appointment questionnaire for personalized guidance."
I have my child with me because my babysitter canceled. What should I do?
I completely understand that plans change! If you need to bring your child, just let me know ahead of time by emailing me. I’m happy to accommodate, but please ensure your little one doesn’t touch any of the salon decor, which is meant for display only. I do have some fidget toys to play with I can bring out.
SERVICES
I’m not used to seeing my curls and I’m not sure what to expect. How can I learn more about your services?
I work with all textures and believe that visuals are key. Please check out my Instagram and website for before-and-after transformations so you can see the range of styles we can create together based on your current look and your goals.
I have allergies or I follow a vegan lifestyle. How do you accommodate these factors?
I understand that allergies and a vegan lifestyle are essential factors for many. I currently use trusted product lines like Innerscense, Ouidad, and Malibu. Innerscense and Malibu are completely vegan, while Ouidad incorporates a silk-complex in some of their formulas. I also have fragrance free shampoo and conditioner which won’t sacrifice the routine we will create! I'm always on the lookout for clean, vegan-friendly options to better serve you. If you have any recommendations or specific concerns, please email me —I love hearing your suggestions!
Can I bring my own products?
If you’re very allergen-prone, you’re welcome to bring your own products. However, please note that while I stand by the product lines I use, using your own products might affect the final results. Let me know in your client intake form if this is important for you.
Do you take color clients?
Yes, I do! For color services, please check the Services page for more details. An in-person consultation is required before booking.
I want layering, but I’m concerned about creating too much volume. Is that possible to avoid?
Absolutely! Layering is a technique that helps structure your hair and remove unnecessary weight without adding extra volume. We’ll discuss your goals during your consultation so I can tailor the technique to suit your lifestyle and desired look.
What if I’m not happy with my style after my appointment?
I offer a five-day period after your appointment for you to assess your new style. If you prefer to adjust your look, please email me at info@thetexturetemplewithannie.com within that time, and I’ll do my best to accommodate a follow-up appointment. (Please note that I do not offer refunds.)
