BOOKING IN

  • How can I book an appointment?

You may book online through our online booking system. Before you do, please visit the Hair Prep Page for us to maximize the most of our appointment time.

  • How far out do you open your books?

We open our books 2 months out currently.They open every other month on the 15th at 9am. We will notify through social media when the date approaches.

(For example, on May 15 at 9 am, will be the time we open for June &July)

  • When is it best for me to book an appointment?

We offer flexible online booking, however, we will routinely be announcing the opening of the next booking period on the 15th of every month. ( ex. September 15th, we will open our books for October) We will be announcing this through the website, instagram, and our email list.

  • Can I use cash to pay for my appointment ?

We accept all major credit cards,Apple Pay and Cash App.

*We do NOT accept cash as a form of payment. You can use cash to pay gratuity to your stylist if preferred. *

ARRIVAL

  • Is there Parking?

There are several off street parking spots in front of the My Salon Suite Building ,street parking in front of the My Salon Suite building, and parking behind the building in the shopping plaza.

  • I may be running 15 minutes late, what should I do?

We do have a 15 minute grace period, please email us at info@thetexturetemple.com with any updates as we will be on call looking. If longer than 15 minutes, we can not guarantee services will be offered and 100% of the service will be charged.

  • Something came up and I can't make my appointment on time/at all, what do I do ?

We would appreciate if you would contact us at info@thetexturetemple.com or our Instagram @Thetexturetemple

  • Do I have to wear a mask?

Mask will be optional as we will be in a 1:1 space be but based on you answers in the questionnaire.

  • My babysitter cancelled and I have my child with me ,what do I do?😱

We understand! Please email us ahead of time if this is the case and we will do our best to accommodate . It is imperative that they do not touch salon decor. It can look very appealing but we are keeping it to a visual experience only.

SERVICES

  • I am not used to seeing my curls and not sure about what to expect, what can I look at for me to gain some insight into your services?

We are both constantly working with all textures and patterns and believe that visuals are important to understanding your natural Crown. Our Sylists' Instagram pages as well as our website, will contain many before and after transformations for you to compare your hair in its current style and what we can do as we work with what your goals are towards your shape.

  • I have allergies to certain ingredients and/or live a vegan lifestyle, how can you accommodate?

We are currently working with the lines Innerscense, Ouidad, Miche and Malibu. Innerscense, Miche Beauty and Malibu are vegan lines and Ouidad uses a silk-complex in some of their formulations. We are looking into additional lines in the near future that will fall into the focus of clean ingredients and vegan friendly. If you have a suggestion, we encourage you to email info@thetexturetemple.com, we LOVE reccomdenations!!

  • Can I bring my own products?

We stand by the lines we use as we try to be as sensitive as possible to allergies.However in the circumstance that you are very allergen prone, you may bring in your products but end results will not be guaranteed.Please specify in appointment notes if this a factor.

  • Are you taking color clients?

Yes. More information is avaiable under the services page, in person consultation required prior to booking.

  • I want layering but I don’t like big hair, is this possible to avoid?

Layering does not always equate to having “big hair”. It is a technique used to help structure a shape as well as providing a removal of unnecessary weight that is not contributing to your length. It is something discussed between the client and stylist based on what the goals are in terms of what you visually desire, lifestyle and maintenance, which will be discussed during the consultation.

  • I am not the type of client that likes my hair after a salon styling, what if I am unsure how I feel about my shape?

There is a 5 day period post appointment for you to assess and I highly encourage you to style to your methods ASAP if that is your preference and email info@thetexturetemplewithannie.com within that timespan. I will accommodate to get you back into the space as fast as possible to make proper adjustments/alterations. The Texture Temple with Annie does not provide refunds.
